Dear Friends of CVHS:
IMAGINE!
Imagine a beautiful new state-of-the-art school building! Imagine our wonderful CVHS teachers and staff in that new school! Imagine the same exceptional, CVHS culture and educational ethos thriving in that new school! And imagine your child learning, growing, and becoming an exceptional adult in that new environment.

What used to be a dream will soon be reality. Thanks to additional funds provided by HISD Trustees and thanks to the efforts of RdlR -- our wonderful team of architects -- the new CVHS building will be completed almost as designed. But, we are not quite there.

As the design and bidding process has proceeded, a few under-funded items have appeared. They incorporate design elements identified by teachers, students, and parents, plus a few items that HISD does not typically provide. We need $350,000 to help CVHS cover these under-funded items through the PTO 2011 – 2012 GATE Campaign.

You can help us reach this goal. Using funds put away in recent years in hopes of meeting such a challenge, the PTO has already donated $100,000. We need your help NOW to provide the additional $250,000 to reach our goal by February 29, 2012.

Many of you have been generous supporters of past GATE Campaigns. And, many more of you are just joining our CVHS family. This year, please consider a donation above and beyond what you might typically do to support the PTO's GATE Campaign efforts.

Together we can move from Imagination to Reality in August 2012.
