PTO Bylaws Revised
At the April 17, 2007 PTO meeting, the Executive Board presented a complete revision of the PTO Bylaws for consideration and the bylaws were officially approved by the membership at the May 15, 2007 meeting.
The revised Bylaws go into much more detail on responsibilities of the Executive Board and committee chairs, the holding and giving notice of both Executive Board and membership meetings and management of PTO funds. The number of PTO general meetings has been reduced to 6 from 10, in anticipation of more business being conducted at open Executive Board meetings and more programs being offered during general PTO meetings.
