Carnegie Science Teachers Honored
Melissa Matsu and Amy Alcoriza were recently recognized as exemplary STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) teachers by The Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas.
They were two of 30 teachers across Texas who were honored. Ms. Matsu and Ms. Alcoriza were part of the conference titled "Improving Science and Math Education: Texas Responds to the Gathering Storm" held by the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University.
Congratulations to Ms. Matsu and Ms. Alcoriza on this achievement. The Carnegie community is so proud!
