General Membership in the Carnegie Vanguard High School Parent Teacher Organization is open to all adult individuals who support the goal and purpose of our organization in accordance with Article I Section 3 of our By-Laws. General members shall be eligible to:

   1. Vote at regular or special meetings.
   2. Serve as a member of the Executive board.
   3. Serve as a committee chairperson.

We do not charge annual dues, but you are welcome to make a donation to support the activities of the PTO.

CVHS PTO Membership/Directory Form

If you are interested in joining the CVHS PTO, you may submit a new directory listing, or revise last year¹s entry. If you have not submitted a form this year and want to, download the CVHS 2011-12 PTO Membership/Directory Form. If you haven’t already submitted your information, please complete the linked forms for your student’s inclusion into the Student Directory by September 14 and return via email to the Directory Chair.

CVHS Student Directory Advertising

Support CVHS by advertising in the Student Directory. Advertise your business, or place a personal ad recognizing a student organization, individual student, etc. Please download the 2010 CVHS Directory Advertising Form for details. Note that the deadline for submitting ads is September 30.

Volunteer with CVHS PTO

Please consider helping out by volunteering at Carnegie Vanguard High School. There are many opportunities to serve. Please download the 2011-12 Volunteer Form for more information on volunteering.

We need you, whether you have a lot of time or just a little for a one-time project. Please review the list and the accompanying descriptions below and check the areas that might interest you. Please also indicate which parent has which interests (and which phone numbers and emails), and indicate preferred contact times. Our volunteer coordinator or the committee chair will be in touch!
